James Eldridge Obituary
James "JC" Clyde Eldridge, age 54, of Sparta, NC; passed away Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
JC was born August 1st, 1970 in Lee County, VA to the late Tommy Dillard and Mary Pleasant Eldridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Lee Eldridge. He is survived by various family and friends.
JC loved his friends and family fiercely, but above all, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When James decided to give his testimony, it was very moving and heartfelt, and he delivered it with conviction. He was a devout Christian and loved to sing in church, a passion he found later in life. His other passions were racing, football, collecting memorabilia, and cooking. JC was amazing at remembering names and never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
After JC found out he was sick, he knew the outcome was in God's hands, so he never complained. His battle was long, but he gave it his all. He kept his faith in God and lived one day at a time. JC will be greatly missed by so many friends and family.
A memorial service to honor the life of JC will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 27th, 2024 at Sparta Church of God with Brother Doug Combs and Pastor Tim Sizemore officiating.
