Jacqueline Lynn (Bradley) Powell

Jacqueline "Lynn" Bradley Powell, age 71 of Sparta; passed away Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 at her residence.

Lynn was born April 9th, 1955 in Smithfield, NC to the late Robert and Patricia Myer Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Anderson.

Lynn retired from the Town of Smithfield, NC. She was a loving wife and companion and enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Powell of the home; a son, Brad Anderson (Emily); four grandchildren: Briggs, Ilene, Emma, and Zane; a daughter in law, Tina Anderson; two sisters: Adrian Boe and Pam Bradley.

A memorial service to honor the life of Lynn will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 18th, 2026 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Ed Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Laurel Springs Baptist Church c/o Sheila Taylor, 30 Dan Ridge Lane Laurel Springs, NC 28644.
