Gary "Buddy" Lee Brady

Gary Lee "Buddy" Brady, age 82 of Winston-Salem, NC; passed away Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Buddy sang and played professionally with The Jubilaires, Swordsmen Quartet and the Gethsemane Quartet. He was a songwriter and recorded over 20 albums. Buddy worked for several churches as an associate pastor, youth director and music director. He was a faithful man of God.

Buddy was born June 20th, 1941 in Galax, VA to the late Nellie Brady. In addition to his biological mother, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Edna Vaughn.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Brady of the home; a brother, Ralph (June) Vaughn of Asheboro, NC; several cousin, extended family and many friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Buddy will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Church with Bob Cleary and Pastor Eddie Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
