Francisco Hernandez Martinez "Pancho", age 51 of Sparta, NC; passed away Monday, December 11th, 2023 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Pancho was born November 24th, 1972 in Veracruz, Mexico to Casimiro Hernandez and Magdalena Martinez. Work was a priority for Pancho and he took a lot of pride in it.

Survivors include his wife, Misti Hernandez of the home; parents, Casimiro Hernandez and Magdalena Martinez; three children: Francisco Hernandez Martinez, Jr. of the home, Jose Hernandez Martinez of the home, Melinda Hernandez Martinez of the home; four brothers: Patricio Hernandez Martinez and Amado Hernandez Martinez, both of Mexico, Hector Hernandez Martinez and Esteban Hernandez Martinez, both of Jefferson; four sisters: Carmen Hernandez Martinez, Antonia Hernandez Martinez, Martina Hernandez Martinez and Lola Hernandez Martinez, all of Mexico; canine companion, Buddy; extended family and many friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Pancho will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, December 17th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with memories shared by family and friends. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
