Faye (Bobbitt) Hash

Linda "Faye" Hash, age 77 of Sparta, NC; passed away Sunday, November 30th, 2025 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, NC.

Faye was born October 15th, 1948 in Surry County, NC to the late Ralph Houston and Edith Colson Bobbitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Bobbitt. Faye loved the Lord and was a member of Sparta Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Hash of the home; three children: Lorrie Poe and husband Joseph of Jefferson, Jeff McWatters of Jefferson, Edwin Hash of Sparta; eight grandchildren: Edwin Hash, Jr., Anna Hash, Joe Poe, Greg Poe, Michael Poe, Donnie McWatters, David McWatters, Amber McWatters; nine great grandchildren, and a special friend, Darlene Bare and companion Max Sexton.

Funeral services to honor the life of Faye will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at Sparta Church of God with Pastor Doug Combs officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
