Elizabeth Lee (Fore) Carpenter

Elizabeth Lee Fore Carpenter, age 66, of 817 Golf Course Road, Sparta; passed away Friday, April 2nd, 2021 at her residence.

Lee was born November 1st, 1954 in Marion, VA to the late John Richard and Myrtle Francis Moore Fore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Fore; a brother, James Russell Fore; a nephew, Chad Fore.

Surviving Lee is her husband, Jerry E. Carpenter of the home; three brothers: Joe Fore and wife RoseEdda of Mountain City, TN., Edgar Fore and wife Janice of Glade Spring, VA., Rick Fore and wife Anita of Glade Spring, VA; a God Son, John Fore III and Ashley of Clemmons; two special nephews: Jack Fore and wife Maranda of Meadowview, VA., Brad Fore and wife Paula of Glade Spring, VA; several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Lee will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Ed Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside committal service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Old Glade Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA with Pastor Larry Lusk officiating.
