Dorothy Jane (Fuller) Bracewell

Dorothy Fuller Bracewell, age 88, of Sparta, NC; passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9th, 2023.

Dorothy was born December 20th, 1934 in New Bedford, MA to the late Norman and Mercy Wolfe Fuller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Muriel Fuller, Beverly Nelson and Debbie Miller. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, James Bracewell, Sr. of the home; three children: James Bracewell, Jr. and wife Regina of Bristol, IL, Lynn Collins and husband Rick of Sparta, Scott Bracewell of Cummings, GA; three grandchildren: Jordan Bracewell of Los Angeles, CA, Melissa Augustine and husband Noah of Unionville, NC, Katie Settle and husband Clint of Mooresville, NC; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers: Norman Fuller and Tom Fuller. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Memorial Services to honor the life of Dorothy will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 30th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service.
