Donnie Ray Loggins

Donnie Ray Loggins, age 61, of 325 Sparks Hill, Sparta; passed away Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at his residence.

Donnie was born July 19th, 1958 in Alleghany County to the late Samuel and Edna Burchett Loggins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Loggins; a sister, Mallie Loggins.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Loggins of the home; four children: Crystal Loggins of Wilkesboro, Renae Crouse and husband Bryan of Glade Valley, Bobby Loggins and wife Savannah of Piney Creek, Keisha Osbourne and husband Daniel of Whitehead; six grandchildren: Kyle Dowell, Ryan Dowell, Mitchell Crouse, Crystopher Loggins, Sara Loggins, and Samuel Loggins; a special family member, Bobbie Devonshire; a sister, Francis Pruitt and husband Danny of Piney Creek.

A memorial service to honor the life of Donnie will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at Bakers Ridge Mission Church with Brother Spencer Roark and Brother Ed Hall officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Keith Holbrook; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bessie and Carlie Hodges.
