Donna (Haun) Moxley

Donna H. Moxley, age 73, of 89 Moxley Ridge Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Genesis Alleghany Center in Sparta.

Donna was born October 17th, 1948 in Sparrow Point, MD to the late Floyd William and Lucille Francis Umstot Haun. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Neugent, Jr.; her step-mother, Jeanette Haun.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Dean Moxley of the home; a daughter, Leesa Hash and husband Bill of Piney Creek; a son, Doug Neugent of Sparta; six grandchildren: Lee Hash (Jacquelyn) of Piney Creek, Mitchell Hash (Courtney) of Piney Creek, Marshall Hash (Emaline) of Crumpler, Garrett Neugent, Trey Neugent, and Morgan Neugent all of Sparta; four great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Caiden, Bailey, and Clayton Hash; four half-sisters: Karen Haun of Winston-Salem, Nancy Carpenter and husband Basil of Independence, VA, Susan Watkins and husband Jimmy of Independence, VA, Cathy Parks and husband Marty of Galax, VA; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Donna will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Reverend James Worrell and Pastor Dave Serven officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
