Donald Eugene Pettit

Donald Eugene Pettit, age 72 of Walnut Cove, NC; passed away Friday, December 20th, 2024 at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center in Kernersville, NC.

Donald was born December 8th, 1952 in Surry County, NC to the late Henry James and Irene Poindexter Pettit. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Knowles Pettit. His family describes him as a wonderful man with a big heart.

Survivors include two daughters: Jessica Knowles of Mt Lookout, WV, Kendall Rader and husband J.R. of Mt Nebo, WV; six grandchildren: Lillie (Sunshine) Hoover, Jesse James Fulner, Chase Fulner, Alivia Rader, Carter Rader and Rip Rader; a sister, Joyce Boyer; a brother, James Pettit; two nieces: Joy Wolfe and Janice Boggs; a host of family and extended family also survive.

No formal services will be held at this time.
