Debra Elaine (Perry) Loggins

Debra Elaine Perry Loggins, age 63 of Sparta; passed away Monday, June 8th, 2026 at her residence.

Debra was born June 8th, 1963 in Alleghany County, NC to Bessie Pennington Hodges and the late Reverend Richard Dean Perry. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ray Loggins; a brother, Michael Dean Perry.

Debra is survived by her mother and father, Bessie and Charlie Hodges; four children: Crystal Loggins of Sparta, Renae Loggins of Sparta, Bobby Loggins (Savannah) of Piney Creek, Keisha Osborne (Daniel) of Sparta; seven grandchildren: Kyle Dowell (Hannah Kelly), Ryan Dowell, Mitchell Crouse, Crystopher Loggins, Sara Loggins, Samuel Loggins, Charlie Loggins; two great grandchildren: Oakley Dowell, Baylor Dowell; a brother, Doug Perry (Crystal) of Sparta; two sisters: Christina Ellis (Richard) of Wilkesboro, Brenda Holbrook (Keith) of Sparta; her canine companions: Sissy and Mimi; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

A graveside service to honor the life of Debra will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 26th, 2026 at Whitehead-Joines Cemetery.
