Deborah Lee (Edwards) Wyatt

Deborah Edwards Wyatt, age 68, of 20 Caudill Road, Glade Valley, NC; passed away Friday, August 16th, 2024 at her residence.

Deborah was born May 8th, 1956 in Galax, VA to the late Carl Dean and Reggie Cox Edwards. She was a loving wife, mother, granny, friend, and a Registered Nurse for 30 plus years. Deborah was an avid crafter and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, R. Jeff Wyatt of the home; three children: Mark Shaw and wife Heather of Statesville, Matthew Shaw and wife Jenna of Thurmond, Larah Shaw of Portland, OR; eight grandchildren: Anson Shaw, Quinn Shaw, Ava Shaw, Ana Shaw, Kierra Shaw, Lexi Bray, Gage Bray, Emmett Panzer; two brothers: Dennis Edwards of Ennice, Barry Edwards and wife LeAnn of Sparta; a sister, Charlotte Miles and husband Marty of Ennice; canine companions, Rose and Sonny; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Deborah will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverend Brad Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and immediately following the graveside at the residence.
