Darlene Joines Obituary
Darlene Joines, age 77, of 4112 Spicer Mountain Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at her residence.
Darlene was born September 19th, 1944 in to the late Everett and Elvira Caudill Love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Galyean; a brother, J.D. Love.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Willous Joines of the home; a daughter, Tammy Daughenbaugh and husband Duke of Mt. Airy; three sons: Robbie Dowell and Amy Hodge of Independence, VA, Allen Lawhead and wife Cynthia of Harrisonburg, VA, Wesley Travis Joines of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren: Brittany Wagoner, Ryan Dowell, Kyle Dowell, and Jamie Whitehead; two great-grandchildren; four sisters: Irene Walls and husband Randy of Sparta, Nancy Miller of Abingdon, VA, Ann Hudson and husband Ben of Topeka, KS, Eliza Grace Love of Gainesville, TX; two brothers: Benny Love and wife Patsy of Sparta, Dwayne Love and wife Stella of Sparta; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
Graveside Services to honor the life of Darlene will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at Landmark Cemetery in the Whitehead Community of Sparta with Reverend Jerry Roten officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thomas Family Funeral Service, PO Box 114, Sparta, NC 28675 to assist with funeral expenses.
