Danny Joe Murray

Danny Joe Murray, age 59, of Sparta; passed away Friday, August 12th, 2022 at Alleghany Health in Sparta.

Danny was born March 11th, 1963 in Forsyth County, NC to Walter Earl Murray and the late Joann Denny Murray.

Survivors include his father, Walter Earl Murray; two children: Maygen Sechrist and husband Josh of Lexington, NC, Jordan Murray and wife Katie of Advance, NC; one granddaughter, Sophie Murray of Lexington, NC; a brother, Kenneth Murray and wife Tammy of Walkertown, NC, Teresa Sugg and husband Roddy of Winston-Salem, NC; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends also survive.

A graveside service to honor the life of Danny will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Vogler officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
