Daniel Lynn Barker

Daniel Lynn Barker, age 44 of Ennice; passed away Monday, April 21st, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC.

Daniel was born December 25th, 1980 in Alleghany County to the late Charles Dean Barker and Olivia Ann Kerley Sanchez. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leota Kerley. He loved his family and was a wonderful caregiver.

Survivors include his son, Dean Gage Barker of the home; two brothers: Michael Barker and Mark Barker both of the home; special cousins: Gary Nichols of Independence, VA and Jackie Duncan of Galax, VA; extended family and friends also survive.

No formal services will be held at this time.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers that assisted in Daniel's care during his time of sickness.
