Connie Diane (Barker) Higgins

Connie Diane Higgins, age 66 1012 Jr. Dairy Road, Ennice, NC; passed away Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at her residence.

Connie was born June 15th, 1956 in Sumter, SC to the late Major Vance Barker and Mary Ethel Sammons Barker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Delores Barker; a brother, David Vance; mother-in-law, Wanda Stoker Higgins.

Survivors include her husband, David Higgins of the home; children: Candice Loggins and husband Jerry of Ennice, Richard Allen Stowe, Jr. and wife Ashley of Bakersville, NC; three grandchildren: Chloe Elexis Loggins, Richard Allen Stowe III, Rowan Alasdair Stowe; father-in-law, Junior Higgins of Ennice; sister-in-law, Louise Bullins and husband Wade of Ennice; a great niece, Leah Harris of Yadkinville; a very special friend, Sandy Moser; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Connie will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverends Myron Dalton and Robert Cheeks officiating. Interment will follow at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until time of the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
