Connie Sue Reed Edwards, age 84 of Sparta; passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehab in Wilkesboro, NC.
Connie was born September 7th, 1940 in Marion, Indiana to the late John Charles and Juanita Craig Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Edwards; a half-brother, Steven Willhite.
Survivors include a brother, Bill Reed of Indiana; a step-daughter, Peggy Moore of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a half-sister, Rhonda Briones of South Bend, Indiana; special friends, Les and Beverlee Scott of Millsboro, Delaware; cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Services to honor the life of Connie will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at Sparta United Methodist Church with Reverend Michelle Foster-Beckerleg officiating. Inurnment will follow at the church columbarium.
