Chad Sexton

Billy Chad Sexton,. age 65 of Sparta; passed away Monday, January 9th, 2023 at his residence.

Chad was born September 28th, 1957 in Alleghany County to the late Billy Page Sexton and Wilma Jenkins Sexton. He retired from Pioneer Eclipse in Sparta; he loved fishing, the river, and hiking where he would hunt and collect indian artifacts and arrowheads.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Sexton of the home; two children: Chastity Warden and husband Evan of Sparta, Lennie Sexton of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren: Vanessa, Ian, Nicholas, and Rachel; a sister, Glenda Wyatt and husband Rick of Piney Creek; a brother, Max Sexton and Darlene Bare of Sparta; a special aunt, Autry Higgins of Sparta; special nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Haven Cemetery Fund c/o Stan Sexton, 353 New Haven Road, Sparta, NC 28675.

The family respectfully request no food or visitors at their respective homes.
