Carolyn Medley Obituary
Carolyn Ann Bare Medley, age 55, of 631 Spicer Mountain Road, Sparta; passed away Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at her residence.
Carolyn enjoyed life. She enjoyed lawnmower racing, camping and being with her family and grandchildren.
Carolyn was born March 4th, 1968 in Ashe County to the late Arthur and Francis Royal Bare. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Master Anthony James Medley; two sisters: Alice Lambert and Peggy Gunter; five brothers: Henry Bare, Bobby Bare, Johnny Bare, Bronco Bare and Eugene Royal.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Medley of the home; two daughters: Lisa Coldiron and husband Josh of Piney Creek, Tiffeny Bare of Ashe County; a son, Johnny Bare and wife Crystal of Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren: Dalton, Sophia, Ava and Emma of the home, Madelyn, Layla, Tucker, Logan and Jordan; two sisters: Wilma Caldwell of Boomer, Fannie Blanton of Wilkesboro; two brothers, Jerry Bare and Alonzo Bare both of Wilkesboro; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
