Carl Junior Dowell, age 68, of Sparta; passed away Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 at Alleghany Health.

Junior was born November 5th, 1951 in Alleghany County to the late Victor Edward Dowell and Edna Clyde Burchette Dowell.

Survivors include two sisters: Barbara White and husband George of Laurel Springs, Peggy McCann of Sparta; three brothers: Roger Dowell and wife Wanda of Sparta, James Dowell and wife Sue of Sparta, Billy Dowell and wife Bobbi of Sparta; nieces and nephews also survive.

No services will be conducted at this time.
