Brenda (Reeves) Roark

Brenda Sue Reeves Roark, age 76, of Glade Valley, NC; passed away Thursday, July 24th, 2025 at her residence.

Brenda was born July 2nd, 1949 in Alleghany County, NC. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Caudill Reeves Todd and her step father, Rex Todd; her husband, Garland Williams Roark. Brenda loved the Lord, spending time with her family, and listening to the Primitive Quartet.

Survivors include three daughters: Michelle Horton Griffie of Sparta, Geri Horton of Sparta, Teena Mabe and husband Scott of Laurel Springs; four grandchildren: Garret Williams and wife Ashley of Ennice, Paxton Wooten and husband Justin of Glade Valley, William Ethan Binion of Sparta, Kailey Gladys Hodges of Piney Creek; eight great grandchildren: Winstyn, Declan, Delaney, Violet, Oaklynn, Stetson, Easton, and Leighton; three sisters: Gail Reece, Gloria Harmon and husband Richard, Jane Absher and husband Randy; three step brothers: Thomas Todd and wife Vickey, Roger Todd and wife Teresa, Wayne Todd and wife Linda; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Brenda will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 28th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverend Charlie Bennett and Randy Absher officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
