Bill Busic

William "Bill" Franklin Busic, age 79, of Piney Creek, NC; passed away Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at his residence.

Bill was born March 5th, 1946 in Galax, VA to the late Clinton and Ava Halsey Busic. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his family. Bill enjoyed hunting, farming, and driving his tractor out in the field.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Wanda Busic of the home; three children: Gary Busic and wife Dena of Piney Creek, Lisa Scott and husband Brian of Piney Creek, Matthew Busic of Piney Creek; three grandchildren: Clay Busic of Piney Creek, Alexis Scott of Piney Creek, Ava Busic of Piney Creek; three sisters: Nancy Tucker of Laurel Springs, Katy Osborne and husband Art of Aiken, SC, Barbara Myers and husband Bob of Laurel Springs; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Bill will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Eric Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post #7034 of Sparta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
