Beatrice (Lambert) Matthews

Beatrice "Lynn" Matthews, of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, was born on April 17, 1965, and entered into eternal rest on December 4, 2025.

Lynn was preceded in death by her brothers, Dwight Hill and Earnest Lee Lambert.

She is survived by her loving mother, Wanda Davis; her sons, Aaron Lambert and Curtis Lambert; and her daughter, Beth Lambert, all of the home. She was a proud and devoted "Meme" to her four cherished granddaughters; Kali Pulliam, Kambree Pulliam, K'mya Pulliam and Kenlee Pulliam. Lynn also leaves behind her beloved nieces, Ashley Jamerson, Jasmine Lineberger, Ieesha Hill-Heisner, Racquel Wilson, and Andrea Hill, along with her special lifelong friends, Tammy Myers and Forest White.

Lynn's warm spirit and gentle presence touched the lives of all who knew her. She never met a stranger, and her natural gift for conversation made everyone feel welcome. She loved her coffee, often enjoying a cup while spending time with the people she loved most. A devoted daughter, loving mother, and a deeply cherished grandmother, Lynn created countless memories that her family will treasure forever.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. "I have engraved you on the palms of My hands" - Isaiah 49:16. A comforting reminder that though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be forgotten.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Lynn will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, December 13th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Pastor Fontina Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Laurel Springs. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
