Barbara Lea (Osborne) Billings

Barbara Lea Osborne Billings, age 93, of Glade Valley, NC; passed away Monday, November 4th, 2024 at Lotus Village in Sparta, NC.

Barbara was born August 1st, 1931 in Guilford County to the late John and Rosa Lovette Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Junior Billings; four daughters: Patricia Billings, Ella Mae Billings, Carolyn Roberts, Sandra Parks; a son, Larry Billings.

Survivors include a son, Rex Billings and wife Karen of Sparta; a daughter, Ruby Crouse of Sparta; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Barbara will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverend Gary Storms officiating. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
