"BJ" Forrest Langdon Bruce, IV

Forrest Langdon "BJ" Bruce IV, age 33 of 94 Crestview Lane, Ennice; passed away Friday, May 5th, 2023 at his parents home in Ennice.

BJ was employed with White Cap in Greensboro, NC; he was a Preacher at Southside Church of Christ in Galax, VA; a board member for the Virginia Christian Camp; a Flagman-Nascar official at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA; an Assistant Troop Leader with the Cub Scout Troop Pack #810 in Woodlawn, VA.

BJ was born June 20th, 1989 in Galax, VA to Forrest Langdon "Buddy" Bruce III and Darlene Carico Bruce. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

In addition to his parents, BJ is survived by his wife of 11 years, Amanda Sexton Bruce of the home; two children: Forrest Langdon Bruce V and Jaxon Carter Bruce both of the home; a sister, Laken Bruce Chamberlain of Greensboro; nieces, nephews, extended family and many special friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of BJ will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 8th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Edmonds Community Cemetery in Ennice. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Buddy and Darlene Bruce, 173 Crestview Lane, Ennice, NC 28623.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Surry Emergency Medical Services and all his friends that have assisted during his short illness.
