Arnold Mathew Huber

Arnold "Arnie" Huber, Jr., age 59 of Sparta; passed away on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Arnie was born June 1st, 1961 in Arlington, VA to Arnold Mathew Huber and Susan Bowles Huber. He was an accomplished Scuba Diver and Scuba Diving Instructor. He traveled all throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and the South Pacific Scuba Diving. Other times, he enjoyed fishing. For the last few years, he had been employed with the ABC Store in Sparta.

In addition to his parents, Arnie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Terri Gans Huber of the home; a son, Mathew James Huber of Miami, FL; two brothers: Glenn Huber and wife Jaye, Jeff Huber and wife Kim all of Miami, FL; a sister-in-law, Kristi Marchetti and Darrell Richardson of Sparta; nieces and nephews: Cyndee, Randee, Ray, Jr., Bryant, Chris, and Alexandra ; great nieces and nephews: Landen, Masen, Olivia, and Ella.

A memorial service to honor the life of Arnie will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Sparta, NC 27017 or to the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, Oregon 97239 in memory of Arnie.
