Amy Jean Blevins

Amy Jean Blevins, age 42 of Sparta; passed away Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, NC.

Amy was born September 26th, 1983 in Alleghany County to Paula Wheatley Blevins and the late Michael Stewart "Nave" Blevins.

Amy was a member of New Covenant Church, she loved collecting rocks of all kinds, she loved her bling jewelry and giving much love to everyone with hugs and kisses.

Surviving is her mother and best friend, Paula Blevins of the home; uncles and aunts: Greg and Tina Blevins of Laurel Springs, Larraine Riale of Jupiter, FL, John and Naomi Wheatley of PA; many cousins, her church family, and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Amy will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at New Covenant Church with Pastor Phil Edwards and Kevin Spurlin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the residence.
