Amanda Sue (Simons) Lynn

Amanda Simons Lynn, age 41 of Asheville, NC and formerly of Piney Creek, NC; passed away Friday, March 20th, 2026 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Amanda was born October 14th, 1984 in Alleghany County to Junior and Susan Trivett Simons.

Survivors include her husband, Dorian Lynn, Jr. of the home; two children: Kitana and Sai Lynn of the home; her parents, Junior and Susan Simons of Piney Creek; a brother, James W. Simons and wife Diane of Laurel Springs; two special nephews: Derek and Carl Simons both of Laurel Springs; grandmother in law, Belinda Austin of Asheville; mother in law, Euletia Lynn of Asheville; sister in law, Madison Taylor McClain of Asheville; brother in law, Brandon Lynn of Asheville; several additional nieces and nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Amanda will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 28th, 2026 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with William Greer and James Simons officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
