Alton Love

Alton Love, age 81, of Lambsburg, VA; passed away Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 at Chatham Nursing & Rehab in Elkin, NC.

Alton was born August 1st, 1943 in Dillon, SC to the late Moses and Lilia Sweat Love. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louvenia Lyons Love; a daughter, Teresa who passed away at a very young age.

Survivors include two children: Bobby Love (Lori), Tanya Cook (Kenzie); step-children: Phil Coots (Kim), Hal Coots (Sharon), Julie Smith (John); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Charles H. Love, Mryrl H. Love, Rudy D. Love.

A memorial service to honor the life of Alton will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Elkin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Johnson Ridge Road with speaker Wayne Pryputniewitz officitating.
