Aldean Roberts

Aldean Roberts, age 83, of Ennice, NC; passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at his residence.

Aldean was born February 24th, 1941 in Alleghany County to the late Kermit and Rosetta Smith Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lester Roberts. Aldean was of the Christian faith and was a member of Old Saddle Mountain Baptist Church. He was always a friend and helper to many neighbors and community members.

Survivors include two brothers: Jack Roberts of Galax, VA, Sam Roberts and wife Anita of Williamston, NC; a sister, Emma Lou Mullaney and husband Darrell of Jacksonville, FL; special friends, Doris Johnson and family; caregivers, Melissa Hamm and family; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Aldean will be held at 11:00 am, Sunday, August 11th, 2024 at Old Saddle Mountain Baptist Church with Elders Russ Cox and Herbert Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow in Saddle Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
