Albert Walter Beam

Albert "Al" Walter Beam, age 87, of Ennice and formerly of Florida; passed away Monday, February 16th, 2026 at his residence.

Al was born March 16th, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Newton and Florence Everly Beam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Jean M. Beam; four brothers: Newt, Art, Bob, and Barry; two sisters: Florence and Clara.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Joan B. Cochran of the home; two daughters: Karen Babiak (Pete) of Huntington Beach, CA, Christine Roth (Chris) of Downingtown, PA; two step-sons: James "Griff" Griffin of Lakeland, FL, Michael W. Cochran (Kristin) of Concord, NC; a brother, Donald Beam (Nancy) of The Villages, FL; a brother-in-law, Lewis Boughner of Aston, PA; Four grandchildren: Todd, Shanna, Gavin and Leighanna; two great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Al will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Medi-Home Hospice Chaplain Richard Reeves officiating. A private interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
