Sammy Chandler Obituary
Sammy George Chandler, age 68, of Lowgap, NC passed away Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at Margate Health and Rehab in Jefferson, NC.
He was born December 31st, 1951 in Marion, VA to the late Charlie and Myrtle Pugh Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Breece and Conley Chandler.
Survivors include two daughters: Sandie Blevins and husband Jeff of Laurel Springs, Michelle Kirkman and husband Benny of Mt. Airy; two sons: James Chandler of Sparta, Charlie Chandler and wife Crissy of Ennice; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers: Andy Chandler and wife Fannie of Millers Creek, Roy Chandler and wife Carol of NC; a sister, Judy Gloyd and husband Albert of Maryland; nieces and nephews also survive.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
