Patsy "Pat" Evans Dillard, age 72, of Sparta; passed away Thursday, May 7th, 2020.
Pat was born January 15th, 1948 in Alleghany County to the late Elder Walter and Hattie Andrews Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Randy Dillard in 2019; three brothers: Louis, Wade and Roger Evans; Four sisters: Ellen Miles, Ann Petty, Ruth Selway and Iva Clodfelter, an infant brother and sister also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Dillard and wife Karen of Sparta; two daughters: Shelley Hamm and husband Forrest of Sparta, Stacey Griswell and husband Josh of Elkin; three grandchildren: Nevada, Donovan, and Wynter Hamm; a sister, Wanda Wyatt and husband Joe of Sparta; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends also survive.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at New Salem Cemetery with Elder E.W. Hooven officiating. The family will not be having formal visiting hours.
In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
