Joseph Seal

Kirk Joseph Seal, age 55, of Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 while traveling in Bogota, Colombia South America.

Joe was born September 15, 1964 to Kirby Seal and the late Peggy Ann LaCroix Kennedy. Joe was born in Mississippi but spent most of his earlier years in Louisiana. He was an avid LSU fan, a US Air Force Veteran and was the Purchasing Manager for Bottomley Enterprises. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Juanita Seal.

Joe is survived by his wife, Gina Nieto Carrillo Seal of the home; a son, Koleson James Seal of Sparta; one daughter, Karly Jordan Seal of Wytheville, VA; a step-daughter, Juanita Martinez of Bogota, Colombia South America; one grandson: Kingston Saint Richmond; a step-grandson, Juan Jose Duque; father, Kirby Seal and wife Dorothy of Sparta; step-father, Robert Kennedy and wife Elizabette of Colfax, LA; two brothers: Kirby "Jay" Seal, Jr. and wife Bambie of Ruston, LA, Mike Petty and wife Tracey of Mt. Airy; two sisters: Angie Petty of Galax, VA, Debbie Williams and husband Robert of Laurel Springs; a uncle, Jim LaCroix of Alexandria, MN; two nephews, Jacob Seal, Heath Williams and wife Veronica; three nieces, Megan Lott and husband Dusty, Heather Vannoy and husband Rock, Wendy Tally and husband Joseph; great-nieces and great nephews, extended family and many friends also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Joe will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Sparta with Dr. Brian Galyean, Brother Ed Hall, and Pastor Dale Baugus officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post #7034. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
