Anthony "Tony" Franklin Dillard, age 43, of 1873 Glade Valley Road, Sparta; passed away Thursday, January 2nd, 2020.
Tony was born September 24th, 1976 in Alleghany County to Franklin Garfield Dillard and Deborah Lee Wagoner Pennington. He loved to catfish, float the river, and especially loved to work and provide for his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Kimbrie Tucker Dillard of the home; four children: Hogan Luke Dillard, Tori Ann Dillard, Fern Leela Dillard, and Radley Garfield Dillard; parents: Debbie Pennigton and husband Harold of Sparta, Frank Dillard and wife Robin of Sparta; two sisters: Katrina Dillard of Java, VA., Tonya Richardson and husband Dayton of Glade Valley; a step-brother, Justin Smith and wife Crystal of Ennice; a step-sister: Sheena Sheets and husband Gale of Sparta; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Betty Tucker; a sister-in-law, Karowin Cassell and husband Steven; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm until on Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 1276 Grandview Dr. Sparta, NC 28675 and all other times at the residence. A private graveside service will be held earlier in the day on Sunday.
